Yes. All our handbags are handcrafted, one by one, in limited editions. At Velvet Atelier, we value the time, precision, and dedication each piece requires, meticulously attending to every detail so that each creation has its own soul.
Each handbag is crafted exclusively with premium materials, selected for their quality, origin, and ethical commitment:
- High-quality French velvet, chosen for its enveloping texture, durability, and responsible sourcing.
- Italian calfskin leather, of the highest quality, produced under strict ecological and ethical standards.
- Custom metal hardware, manufactured entirely in Spain, with premium finishes and the engraved logo as a seal of authenticity.
Yes. Each handbag is unique. As they are crafted through artisanal processes, no two pieces are exactly alike. The small variations are part of their identity and reflect the exclusive and authentic character of each creation.
We launch capsule collections of limited editions, and soon, we will incorporate a customization section on our website where you can choose from different options to make your handbag even more personal.
If you have a special request, please feel free to write to us; we would be delighted to consider it.
Additionally, we offer luxury multi-brand stores the possibility of creating exclusive color combinations, available only at their physical point of sale.
All our handbags are carefully prepared in our atelier in Spain. Before being shipped, each piece undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
We ship throughout the European Union. For international orders outside Europe, please contact us, and we will assess your case individually.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Estimated times are:
- Spain (mainland): 2–4 business days
- European Union: 4–8 business days
- International (upon consultation): variable depending on destination
Yes. Once shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number and the courier company’s link.
What happens if I’m not home at the time of delivery?
The courier company will contact you to schedule a new delivery or pickup at a nearby location.
PAYMENTS AND RETURNS
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and PayPal payments. All transactions are processed through secure platforms, guaranteeing maximum protection of your data.
Yes. You can request a return within 14 calendar days from the receipt of the order, provided the handbag has not been used and is in perfect condition, with all its original packaging complete.

Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization.
Return costs are borne by the customer, except in cases of defective products or errors attributable to Velvet Atelier. In such situations, we will cover all costs.

GIFTING A HANDBAG
At Velvet Atelier, we understand that the experience of a handbag begins long before you carry it. From the conception of each design to the moment it reaches the hands of the person who chooses it, we meticulously attend to every detail with the same dedication we put into our creations.
Our packaging is an essential part of that experience: a tribute to elegance, texture, and the art of detail. We have designed a unique and sensory wrapping, conceived so that each delivery is as special as the piece it contains.
On each product page, you can, if you wish, include text to add a card with a personal message.
The Box
The Velvet Atelier box consists of two pieces:
a solid base in deep black and a lid covered in high-quality Italian velvet paper, in the brand’s corporate color. In the center, the Velvet Atelier logo is engraved in black, creating a subtle and sophisticated contrast.
We have two box formats, carefully adapted to the dimensions of each handbag model.
The Dust Bag
Each handbag is presented inside a premium suede-effect dust bag, in a leather tone, soft to the touch and resistant to use.
It incorporates an engraved leather plate with the Velvet Atelier logo, as a seal of authenticity and elegance. Like the boxes, the bags are sized to fit each handbag format, ensuring protection and aesthetic harmony.
More than just simple packaging, Velvet Atelier’s packaging is a natural extension of our philosophy: to transform every gesture into an experience, every delivery into a moment of beauty.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Velvet Atelier handbags are made with the highest quality velvet, a premium material that requires specific care to maintain its beauty, texture, and durability. Below, we offer a practical guide for its proper preservation:
Cleaning and maintenance of velvet
Use a clothing brush with soft natural bristles or one specifically for velvet.
Always brush in the same direction as the fabric’s pile, without applying excessive pressure.
→ Ideal for removing lint, dust, or dry residue during regular maintenance.
Additional tip: A slightly damp rubber glove can also gently work to pick up particles.
Only use if it has a gentle adhesive that doesn’t leave residue.
→ Useful for removing hair, specks, or fibers.
Avoid pressing hard; use short, delicate strokes.
In case of dust or adhered dirt, lightly dampen a microfiber cloth with warm water.
→ Gently wipe over the affected area, following the direction of the fabric.
Never soak the velvet: excess water can damage its texture or leave marks.
To restore volume to the fibers or remove minor marks, you can apply steam with a handheld steamer or vertical iron.
→ Always maintain a distance of 6–8 inches (15–20 cm).
Never iron velvet directly.
Immediately blot with clean paper or a dry cloth, without rubbing.
Apply a very mild mixture of water with neutral soap, using a white cotton ball or cloth, dabbing lightly.
Allow to air dry, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
What to always avoid?
- Commercial wet wipes (may contain abrasive chemicals).
- Harsh detergents, bleach, or alcohol.
- Vigorous rubbing or harsh brushing.
- Machine washing or immersion in water.
- Prolonged exposure to sun, humidity, or direct heat.
